Jealousy can be very harmful. It can ruin your work relationships, friend relationships and romantic relationships. Although, in learning to see the signs of jealousy early, you may be able to prevent loads of these conflicts from occurring. Go here now to learn more about the signs of jealousy today! Below are several ideas on how to do just that.

Here’s how you can see the signs of jealousy. If you begin to feel irrational, strong feelings of frustration, depression, anxiety, or bitterness regarding the accomplishments of individuals around you, you may be experiencing envy. Being jealous of someone is very easy. One common way of being jealous  is when someone around you wins a grant that you wanted or worked hard to get.

When battling with these feelings, it is often best to deal with the signs of jealousy early on. Seeing a companion receive an award you wanted or getting a promotion you worked hard to obtain, the most significant thing is not to lose hope. Many are able to constructively use their signs of jealousy as a way to motivate themselves to strive more. This, rather than dwelling on your own failures and insecurities, is one of the best methods for banishing your envy.

If you are jealous of your romantic partner for whatever reason, it’s important that you talk about it in a calm, non-accusatory manner. Talking out your problems can prevent a lot of conflict in the long run. The both of you will also feel much better in the long run for having taken care of the problem early on. If you are unable to reach a point in the conversation where both of you feel comfortable around one another again, perhaps it is time to consult a couple’s therapist. He or she will be able to provide you with professional, unbiased attention that will help enormously in sorting out your romantic jealousy before it creates lasting damage.

Another good way to combat signs of jealousy before they fester into lingering resentments is to give yourself a confidence boost. After all, one of the leading causes of envy are underlying feelings of depression, hopelessness, and insecurity. In becoming confident in your looks and abilities, you will be much less prone to becoming jealous of other people. Try making a list of your positive traits and attributes. You’ll be pleasantly surprised at just how useful it will be. Go here now to learn more about the signs of jealousy today!

Dealing With Jealousy In Relationships

Being jealous in a relationship can be very nerve-racking. I know this because I used to be very jealous of my partner in a relationship myself.

I constantly worried about where my partner was and what she was doing at all times. I used to be worried sick about her wellbeing when she didn’t pick up the phone, and at the same time I was worried that she was cheating on me.

These constant worries kept me from being truly happy and they kept me from bringing happiness to others around me.

With time I learned how to deal with my jealousy issues and today my jealousy is nearly nonexistent, allowing me to focus on more things in life than my partner.

If you find yourself in a similar position, in a relationship where you are really jealous of your partner, then you may want to realize a couple of things:

  • It’s NOT about your partner, it’s about you!
  • It’s unrealistic to expect your partner to change, you check out where you can change yourself instead.
  • Most people identify themselves strongly with their relationship. When that relationship is taken away, you lose a sense of self.

Instead of being relationship focused, focus your attention to broader things in life.

If you don’t know what to focus your attention on then here are a few good examples:

  • Your family
  • Your Career
  • Spiritual growth
  • etc.

To start focusing your attention on other things in life, you can start by doing and performing activities like:

  • Going out with your friends and NOT inviting your loved one.
  • Take up a hobby, like playing the guitar/bass/piano or any arts.

Focusing on broader things in life expands your sense of identity so you won’t lose yourself if your relationship ends. This is a good thing that too many people fail to realize.

If you’re the jealous type, start doing something about your jealousy today before your jealousy robs you of your identity!!
